1. Use of Service

MeloDNA provides an AI-powered music generation service that creates personalized songs based on your music taste preferences. By accessing or using MeloDNA, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, attempting to reverse-engineer the AI generation process, or using automated tools to access the service.

2. User Content

When you use MeloDNA, you provide artist names and music preferences as inputs. You retain ownership of the information you submit. By providing this information, you grant MeloDNA a limited license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of generating your personalized song.

You represent that you have the right to provide all information you submit and that your use of the service does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

3. AI-Generated Content

Songs generated by MeloDNA are created by artificial intelligence models. All generated content is clearly marked as AI-generated. You receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use your generated song for personal, non-commercial purposes.

MeloDNA does not guarantee that generated content will be free from similarities to existing works. Generated songs should not be registered with any copyright office or submitted to music distribution platforms as original compositions.

Free-tier outputs include a watermark identifying the content as AI-generated and created by MeloDNA. Paid-tier outputs remove the MeloDNA watermark but remain subject to the same usage terms.

4. Payment Terms

MeloDNA offers one free song generation per verified email address. Additional premium features, including watermark-free assets and high-quality audio downloads, are available for a one-time payment of $1.99 USD per song.

Payments are processed securely through Polar. MeloDNA does not store your payment card details. All prices are in USD and include applicable processing fees.

If a generation fails after payment, MeloDNA will automatically issue a full refund to the original payment method. Refunds for other circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis through our support channel.

5. Intellectual Property

The MeloDNA name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of MeloDNA and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Artist names and related metadata used during the generation process are the property of their respective owners. MeloDNA uses this information solely as style references and does not claim any affiliation with or endorsement by any artist.

6. Limitation of Liability

MeloDNA is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeloDNA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email.

Your continued use of MeloDNA after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue using the service.
